• COMPLETED PROJECTS

• • TB C & DST Lab established in 2023 for Solid & Liquid culture and 1st & 2nd line Drug Sensitivity Testing.
• • Walk in Cold room established in 2021; serves as Central Supply Depot for distribution of HIV Kits to 7 districts (Praygaraj, Fatehpur, Kaushambi, Pratapgarh, Raebareli, Chitrakoot, Banda).
• • Establishment of COBAS 6800 lab during COVID-19 Pandemic (Oct 2020).
• • HIV Diagnostic Laboratory is NABL accredited since 2018 and deserves the honour of being First NABL accredited lab of M.L.N. Medical College.
• • 14 research paper publication of Department from 2020-2024 in reputed International (Pubmed Index) & National Journals.

• • Bill & Milinda Gates Foundation , USA funded, ICMR approved USCDC Project “Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Capacity building - Orientation Training for COVID-19 preparedness & IPC for healthcare facilities” – Completed in 2022
• • ICMR Project “Prevalence and Antibiogram of Group B Streptococci isolated from pregnant women at tertiary care center, Prayagraj - Completed in 2022
• • Project in Collaboration with JIPMER, Pudducherry “HHAC Study: Impact of conducting Hand Hygiene Audit in COVID-19 care locations of India-A large scale national multi centric study” completed in 2021.

• • NACO awarded Center of Excellence certificate to 05 ICTC/PPTCT centers linked with State Reference Laboratory for HIV in 2022.
• • NABL MELT accreditation of 02 ICTC Centers linked with State Reference Laboratory for HIV Testing in 2022.
• • Best Oral Presentation in National Conference-2023 on Negligence and COPRA.
• • Best Oral Presentation in 17th Annual Uttar Pradesh TB & CHEST Conference (UP-TBCCON-2023).
• • Best Mycology Poster Presentation in 19th Annual Conference of UP-UK Chapter 2024, IAMM.

• • Bill & Milinda Gates Foundation , USA funded , ICMR approved USCDC Project “Strengthening of laboratory surveillance for Pneumococcal meningitis in India to understand the impact of Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV) roll out”- on going since 2018.
