ACHIEVEMENTS
- Department of Pediatrics is a tertiary care centre which caters the needs of large population in North India.
- It has a well-equipped SNCU, NRC,PICU, HDU and other facilities for caring sickest newborns, infants and children.
- It runs specialist OPD in pediatric subspecialities like Nephrology (Dr. Anubha Shrivastava), Pulmonology (Dr.
M.V.Singh), Endocrinology (Dr. Manisha Maurya), Neonatology(Dr.R.K.Yadav), Neurology (Dr. Nandita Mishra),
Haematology (Dr. Santosh Shukla), HIV (Dr. Shahid Siddiqui) and Genetics(Dr. Sakshi Rajoria). - The department has now 10 MD seats per year.
- The department has been actively involved in organization of many Sate level conferences, workshops, symposium
etc. in association with IAPPrayagraj since last many years. - Department is involved in various national programmes involving children in various capacities from content
development, training, surveillance and advisory feedback. - The departmental faculty is actively involved in academics and research and has published many research papers
in PubMed indexed national and international journals of repute
