ACHIEVEMENTS
Department of Medicine has 18 Faculties, 8 Senior Resident (SR), 53 Junior Resident (JR) and Non PG JR with patient
care in last 1 year with OPD of 130214 and IPD of 25537. 8 bed MICU fully equipped running to 100% occupancy. 30 bed
HDU and 30 bed EMU for efficient patient care. During the outbreak of Dengue, around 600 patients of Dengue and viral
illness were treated and managed. 5914 patients on ART are being managed at ART center. 176 Haemophilia patients
are being treated with Factors with total consumption of 8700 vials in the year 2023-2024.
Academic Activities and Achievements of the Department in the year 2023-2024 includes: Publication(National and
international journal)-50, Book Chapters-5, Award-2, Best Paper award-2, Best Poster Award-2. Five(05) CME, three(03)
conferences including NATCON, UPRSSDI and WOMENCON2024 were held in Prayagraj with active participation of
Department of Medicine. Public Awareness Programme regarding Haemophilia were held in the Department of Medicine.
